The second day of the ENFSI Forensic Information Technology Working Group Annual Meeting promises another enriching program focused on the latest advancements in digital forensics.
We begin the day with Thomas Souvignet from UNIL, who will provide an update on current research projects at UNIL, sharing cutting-edge developments in forensic science. Samuele Mombelli (with T. Souvignet) will then present “Revealing the location traces on Android devices!”, offering valuable insights into mobile device forensics.
Next, Antoine Desbilles and Benoit Meylan (with T. Souvignet) from UNIL will discuss the Acciloc project in their session “How can your phone tell us what happened during a car accident?”, exploring innovative methods for accident investigation using mobile technology.
After a coffee break, Charlotte Merceron (with T. Souvignet) from UNIL will deliver a talk on “Digital forensic analysis of PDF documents”, highlighting techniques for extracting and analyzing digital evidence from documents.
Adnan Keçe from the Council of Forensic Medicine will present on the activities and expertise of the Digital Forensic Department, providing an overview of their work and contributions to the field.
Following a lunch break, the program will conclude with a Cultural Tour of the Historical Peninsula, offering participants a chance to experience the rich heritage and sights of the host city.
